UPDATE (3:23PM PST)- Rejoice! The Rise Together Event along with the associated Packs and Bundles will be returning to the game!
Hiya~!
(UPDATE 2:27PM PST) The fix is being reviewed and the teams currently tackling the double drop cadence (and some extras!) to ensure the content that was pulled is replaced, and this celebration returns to all players firing on all cylinders. Barring any unexpected encounters, we should be releasing today!

Greetings Heroes,
We apologize for the unexpected behavior in the Rise Together event. We've identified the issue, however, we want to take more time to ensure the event is ready for all of you.
Unfortunately, we will be removing the Event, Packs and all related messaging until further notice.
We (likely @CG_Kozispoon
) will be posting tomorrow with updates on the event as we move forward.

Hello all,
We're sorry that some of you are experiencing difficulty getting into the Rise Together event.
Some of you may be getting cycled out of the game.
We're working to resolve the issue. As always, we appreciate your patience and support!
Double Drop CLARIFICATION:
Drops are currently normal cost with normal drop rates, exactly as they are listed within the game.
When and if that changes, you will be notified in game exactly as we have done for you in the past.
Per our messaging there WILL BE Double drops activated. When we activate that portion of the event, we will notify all players in game. Stay tuned!.

The most epic.. I bet they said before they released it wow this is going to be legen wait for it..... DARY!!!! Legendary then they failed but yeah ya know same old
No word on that as of yet. Current priority is the Event
I noticed that after i posted. Generally they are on american times so its early morning no matter the timezone
I dislike your priorities.. random new ships you have to pay to max in event < double drops on cantina... we all know why you chose random new shops you have to to max and it's because it has pay in it.. ahhhh am I right?? Am I?
I appreciate you guys working on it, Made a topic about how sort staffed you must be at this hour before seeing this topic.
What about for those of us that bought and spent Cantina energy because we got the in-game message that Double Drops were activated even though it is not working? Will I get my energy back?

But many guys bought a lot of crystals and burned them on not working double cantina drops though.
They'll probably just ignore you and hope you stop bringing it up, like they did with people that got screwed in the arena daily bug.

Why should anyone assume that the rewards would look differently? Easily could be interperreted as double chance for drops, or that you'd just get 2x rewards and they'd show the same in preview.
Ocd does, but the healthy part of the brain cares about double drops
