Galactic War Omega mats

Seems like I was getting a couple Omega mats per week not long ago, particularly in the last couple nodes of Galactic War. There was a day I received 2 from one GW. I haven't seen one drop for at least a couple weeks so was wondering it that was just a special event, nerfed, or amazing rng?
