Why is Plo Koon Not Used?

With nearly everybody noting and complaining about Zaul leads, why is Plo Koon leadership not the first thing to try countering with? 55% chance on any ally's turn to dispel Stealth from each enemy. There is potential for the first ally to dispel an entire Zaul Sith squad on the first turn. Yeah it doesn't add as much as a Rex lead, or any of the other Zeta leads, but he's cheap to updgrade and his leadership is designed to be anti-stealth

  • He's slow and hits like a wet noodle for starters. If his leader ability was his unique he'd be fine.

I've really been considering him too. When it comes down to it, a Zaul lead adds massive speed, evasion, and crit hate in addition to stealth.

Plo Koon's leader ability deals with one of those 4, but it's the least important of them. A little extra offense doesn't help much against all that. If offense helped that much, people would be looking for mods with offense instead of speed (not saying it isn't good) They aren't. and the speed is really the killer part of a Zaul lead, the stealth is more of an annoyance than anything.

    Yep.

That doesn't matter for leadership abilities though.
  • So when they rework the Jedi faction, do y'all think Plo Koon should get a Zeta on his leadership then? Maybe to deal with Zaul teams better.

Problem is that it's his leadership ability. They can make it dispel stealth everytime but it still won't be better than zeta qgj lead.

Interesting thing about Plo's leader ability is that it isn't faction specific. If it gets a zeta without becoming faction oriented, I could see it being used.

Maybe but his arguably best ability is. Unless he gets a complete rework (which he may very well get) he's a wasted slot on a team. Rex gives better TM, zaul teams get to go first , zader removes tm, zqgj grants speed and foresight. Even as a dispeller how is Plo better than B2 or baze? Plo being arena viable needs a lot more.
