i don't understand why i am not able to train my characters abilities. i have the disc things required (i have lots of them saved up, and i do not see any level restrictions), but when i click on the abilities, the trains are grayed out.

Scroll down you will probably see you are short purple mats

yes!! you are right. i didn't think i had gotten to the purple discs yet and didn't realize i could scroll down there.
