R2 works well on defense aparrently
So yesterday, I fought my way from the lows 200s in Arena up to rank 127. I use a droid team team so naturally I expected to be targeted and get pushed back to to where I started, sometimes even lower. Lo and behold to my surprise overnight I haven't lost a single placement, still at 127. My R2 is freshly gear 9, and has decent mods with no omegas or zetas yet. My team is HK (L) gear 10, IG88 gear 10, IG86 gear 9 and JE gear 9. I'm surrounded by Wiggs teams, EP lead teams and Zaul teams. Pretty much every team also has full gear 11 teams with maybe 1 or 2 characters gear 10. I'm clearly outmatched, but just wanted to let the droid users that R2 is definitely viable for defense. I'm also thinking of switching out IG86 for B2, but I'll see if that's necessary later on.
TLDR; R2 got me to a great spot in Arena, I didn't lose any spots overnight to teams that are stronger than mine.
