Are enought leaders for empire? (ironic mode on)

The lack of the empire is that there are so many people who wants the power that they hinder one each other.

Actually we have:

Palpatine

Vader

Grand Moff Tarkin

Director Krennick

General Veers

Garth Saxon

8 about 14 toons want to be leaders.

Now seriously why not rework one or two of them and change his leadership to a unique.

The only one they can really get away with doing that to is maybe Saxon. But don't worry, the only empire toon that will likely be released and also has a lead is thrawn. Maybe the grand inquisitor also, but you get the idea. Now I know you think empire has too many leaders, but every jedi except 2 or 3 of them have a leader ability, and most of them just give jedi allies defense. At least the empire leads are all pretty diverse.

The problem is that all the named Empire characters are leaders. Anyone that is important enough to need to be in the game is some sort of leader for the Empire. Either that or they are just a nameless trooper type. Having that many leaders is ok if they also have Uniques. Having 5 abilities and 1 of them being a leader still allows them to be used outside of the leader role. Like Krennic, or EP and kinda Tarkin (I think they could've done a much better job with his unique). Vader, Veers, and Saxon are limited with the lack of either a 3rd ability or a unique when they aren't in the leader position. Especially where Saxon's unique kinda relies on his leader ability to be useful. Veers and Vader aren't quite so unplayable without their leader abilities but they both lack a little something when they're not being used as a lead.

*Also there's only 6 empire leaders out of 14 not 8.

Still 43% of the Empire characters are leaders. Lets compare that to other factions:

Rebels: 28 in game. 9 have leader abilities. Thats about 32% of the faction with a leader ability, which means 2/3 of the faction doesn't have a leader ability, which gives them a lot more options (aside from just sheer numbers)

Resistance: 6 in game, 2 have leader abilities. 33% or 1/3 with leader abilities. Good ratio, but hindered by lack of bodies to work with.

Sith: 9 in game. 7 have leader abilities. In fact before the release of SAss and SiT every single Sith had a leader ability. Now it's only 78% with a leader ability.

Jedi: 18 in game. 14 with leader abilities. Again 78% same with the Sith.

First Order: 5 in game, only Phasma has a leader ability. Good ratio to not waste the use of a skill, but very limited options.

Droids: 9 in game, 3 have leader abilities. Basically the same ratio that Rebels and Resistance have, but with less toons than rebels and a few more than the Resistance.

Clones: 5 in game, 3 leader abilities. 60% of clones have a leader ability, although Rex's is used quite often for non-clone teams.

Bounty Hunters: 6 in game, 4 with leader abilities. 66% have leader abilities.

Scoundrel: 13 in game, 9 with leader abilities. Roughly 70%.

Nightsisters: 5 in game, 3 have leader abilities. Same 66% ratio as the clones.

Jawas: 5 in game, 2 have leader abilities. 40% with leader abilities, closest to Empire's 43%.

Separatist: 10 in game, 5 with leader abilities. 50% have leader abilities.

Galactic Republic: 23 in game, 17 with leader abilities. 74% (largely because it's mostly Jedi).

Looks to me like Sith and Jedi have the "lets waste a skill by giving everyone a leader ability" thing down pat. Empire isn't even the next worst offender, and they certainly have more toons with the extra skill to make up for it than plenty of other factions do.

Thanks to both to make this in perspective.

When i was writing this post i was mainly thinking in the rework of Veers and the other caractehr Gar Saxon both have two leaders ability with Zeta, and they dont like to be your first option to choose for leader of empire (Tarkin is maybe in the same way but let him a chance for what comunity can make with him).

So the majority of the leaders skill of empire requires zetas what makes them more difficult to move if you are thinking on them like members of a squad and not leaders.

PD: Galen Erso is not still in the game (Could be the first toon rebel and empire at the same time)

As someone who uses Empire characters, I love that there are so many options for leaders, makes it fun to try new combinations and configurations.

Every Single Jedi are Leaders... That's why the Jedi are extinct and are so weak in this game coz they're actually fight amongst themselves to be leader...even old ben wanna lead the team.

and so are Sith (besides trooper n assassin)...
even down to ones that can't even lead an army of ants, like Savage

DK & GV were just minions anyway, not entirely sure why they even have leader abilities tbh. EP GMT & DV are the only toons that really "lead" in the empire.
