I just had an encounter in GW where the entire team went 3 or more times wiping out my A squad in the second round. All my toons had 90% or better health after the first volly in round 1. All my toons were higher rank and gear.

In fact I had already beat them but reset because GS and Sid had been heal blocked and not back up to full health before the last toon would have fallen.
