When they annoucef Thrawn the forums were buzzing with positivity... minus the Jango fans.

When they annouced Pheonix was tied to him... the hype died down but was manageable.

Now they annouce nothing at a big event they tease other than we only have 5 days to prep for a character we have heard almost nothing about.

Ive never seen a studio fail this bad other than maybe microsoft 2013

It's the opening of a weekend long event. Keep your pants on. More info is coming. Also you have until the end of the event. It starts in 5 days, but you have more than twice that to get ready, and that doesn't count all the time we've already had to prep since they told us and gave out double drops on top of that. Plenty of free players will get him.

And what you're describing is just the peak right now.
There was also this issue about leaked pictures yesterday.
This "mod-gate-2" Bug where some people made 100M+ credits. Nutini debacle. Two big rebel releases during empire focus. Lots or content and event "teases" that never revealed anything. 7* characters being sold at 300+ bucks on release.
And so much more just lately.

I really hope they get their things sorted out and right.

Based on the speculatory drop rate of ~0.30 for shards from nodes, and the limits in terms of attempts, sim-cards and time, how many shards do you calculate a F2P players of being able to cobble together in ten days?

More info isn't coming. Well, it is, probably - in 2 months maybe when people start raging again because they were promised info on Luke "in August".

The time is nowhere near enough. If you played their marquee events etc. and you've stored resources everywhere, you can get them to 6* before the event expires (excluding Sabine) if you also invest shard shop currency or you're lucky in cantina drops.
You cannot 7* them for the legendary event as a f2p.
And if you didn't store resources first or if you haven't got the 3* characters to start with, it might be really hard to get a 5* team assembled.

7* Thrawn will be a whale character for a few months. They're trying to make you panic-buy that super expensive trollpack.
