Defense instructions before AI

With thrawn been so complicated and might suck on AI (many other great toons does), would be possible to have some sort of script for us to use on defense, before AI take over? Like decide what moves each toon will use first when their turn, or which debuffs trigger the cleanse? I'm seeing the AI cleansing a single dot and wasting it.

C'mon... CG will never do that. Squads have to remain beatable on defense or the game instantly dies.
