when will we see a new game mode?

it was mentioned a while back that a new game mode was coming but we have had no information since. any chance of getting an update about this? even just to say that there is a new game mode would be great. all these new characters are fun but the games needs a new challenge. we have only got 2 raids and ships have been lacking for a while now. please please please bring out a new game mode soon!

Death Star Raid! We can defeat TIE fighters, guide Luke during the Trench Run, fight the TIE Advanced with TIE fighters and the interior part of the Death Star in Return of the Jedi with Lando.
Rebels and Resistance would get a bonus
