I can't promote a guild member

About one year ago I created a guild and it has been growing since then. But along this time I have found two members I could not promote to officers, unlike many others.
Has anyone the same problem? Any solution?

IIRC it might be that they are under 18.

If they are on a child account they cannot be promoted, and you can only have 8 officers.

Didnt know about the 8 officer limit, that's good to know as well.

having only 8 officers is incorrect. i am in a guild with probably a dozen officers at this point.

Did they change this? Because at one point we tried to promote someone to officer but couldn't because we already had 8.

I think number is not a problem but i didn't know about the age restriction. Thank you all
