Crashing (Android not responding) on NVIDIA Tegra K1 chipsets

Has anyone else experienced seemingly random crashes on K1 chipset the Shield Tablets or the Nexus 9? I have two Shields (one is rooted and one is stock) and they both experience random ANRs in this app but I don't have issues with the other games I play. It can happen in battles or just in menus and usually happens just after some touch input event. If I leave it running without touching the tablet then it just runs forever.

Does EA test this platform specifically? If you could investigate this issue I would appreciate it. The K1 runs this game beautifully in terms of performance but the crashing is frustrating, particularly because my energy is spent even if the battle doesn't complete and arena battles are forfeited (which is understandable).

Same problem for me on Shield Tablet, it is really annoying, especially when it crashes during battle and I loose the energy for nothing...
