Is Thrawn viable at 5* G9?

I was thinking about gearing my R2, but after watching a couple of videos.. D*** I am starting to consider this guy, does anyone have him at around G8/G9? If so would you mind sharing if he is any good?

    He is good. People see to have found him a home in mix teams as well as mostly/full empire teams.

    G9 is a stretch depending on your shard. But you could always give it a go, until you have him higher.
