trying to get bariss to work

About to get bariss to 7 star and I kinda wanna get her to work. But I fear her leader skill is just not up to snuff compared to qgj super speed, and the current speed or die meta. My other issue is I fear her damage is so low that if I use old ben too I will just not have enough damage to retaliate IF the bonus hp and regen and debuff removal are enough (and I'm near sure it won't be). And her as a non leader seems... weak.
Is there any mix of jedi that uses bariss that wouldn't be outclassed by a qgj led pure attack group?
Sadly my last jedi wot hit 7 until after the event.
