Any word on the next R2D2 event??

I was ill-prepared for the first go round a month or so ago. Only 5-starred R2 on the first release.

No word. Best guess between Halloween and Episode 8.

Asking this same question everyday, won't bring the event back sooner.

Palps was released in August(I think).
He then returned in December.
4 months. This is most likely the minimum amount of time we will have to wait.

Extremely rare events are months between. 4-6 months likely. They want your $ when they release the events. It is, after all, a business.
