New events still not appearing without reboot

I thought they'd fixed the missing events bug? It seems not. I got the scoundrel purchase ad, went to events saw there was no heist or training droid event. Force-closed the app, reopened it and voila there is the new event.
CG/EA: please fix this bug. It has been broken for far too long.
