Odd ally bug

One of my guildies is having an odd bug. His ally page is only showing 0,1,2,3,4 allies when he tries to fight light side table. Those allies are never any of his guild mates. Anyone have a thought on this

    Go in, back out, rinse and repeat until desired ally shows.

    Wish we could just select the ally from our own list once or twice per day without RNG playing a role in which ally shows.

    Also, if you have their leader toon in your squad already, they won't show up.

    He has been going out and in but the allies do not change.
