Kylo Ren DoT bug?

Maybe working as intended and I never noticed, but in the bounty hunter challenge Ren got procced 5x off Phasma'a leadership (I swear that only happens for me at useless times), and his DoT applied all 5x (so 5 debuffs from him on fett at once). Does it normally stack on itself?
