Who is worth filling the extra gears once they're 11. I.e. Would Thrawn or Nihilus be worth adding to instead of bringing DT to 11?

Everyone , especially arena, should be maxed gear. Those extra pieces can make all the difference.

I appreciate the fast comments. Thanks. I kink of figured that but I'd like to ditch TFP for Someone; not sure if DT is right. TFP is so fast. And I'm on a Dec 15 shard

Every little bit helps. If you use the toon, it's worth the investment.

I think it's important that you see whether or not those stats are effectual. For example, the mk6 speed balls can be a huge deal because they affect the starting turn. Having Tenacity Up go before Boba's AoE ability block, say, can change the course of an entire match. On the other hand, you can exist without a bit of strength and still win just as often in arena, so you may wish to devote gear of that sort to diversifying your roster.
