A question about Revan

Since the release of Darth nihilus, the possibility of adding more kotor characters including the fan favorite, Darth Revan, has been widely anticipated. I've read many posts about revan in the past, but I can't quite seem to remember if there has ever been a direct dev response to the idea of adding him.
Was there an on the record response or even a sly hint? If not, any devs want to take a crack at it, eh?
