Wicket (Critical) Damage does not seem to add up right

Wicket is modded for 216% Critical Damage and 2661 Physical Damage
Mpw8LxS.png
His Forest Ambush ability Modifier at level 8 is 1.389
Offense up is a 50% boost
It is a full Ewok team so from his unique that is an additional 50% Critical Damage. 4/5 Ewoks are stealth so that is an additional 40% Critical Damage.
So his critical damage should be 306%

So the numbers:
2661*1.50*1.389*3.06 = 16965

Opponent Rey Armor is 22.58%
Expected damage 16965*0.7742 = 13134
Opponent Vader Armor is 29.42%
Expected Damage 16965*0.7058 = 11973
Here is the actual damage:
1392hzO.png
difference of ~1500 for Rey and ~1900 for vader

I decided to do a little more testing by reducing his CD via mods
Having him modded for 180% CD and 2666 Physical damage
2666*1.50*1.389*2.70 = 14997
Opponent Rey Armor is 22.58%
Expected damage 14997*0.7742 = 11610
Opponent Vader Armor is 29.42%
Expected Damage 14997*0.7058 = 10584

Actual damage
JkTXNSz.png
Diff of ~2900 for Rey and ~2700 for Vader

Having him modded for no additional crit damage and 2666 physical damage
2666*1.50*1.389*2.40 = 13331
Opponent Rey Armor is 22.58%
Expected damage 13331*0.7742 = 10320
Opponent Vader Armor is 29.42%
Expected Damage 13331*0.7058 = 9409
3ybGQt3.png
Diff of 2785 for Rey and 2969 for Vader

Those are some pretty high differences. looking at the mechanics it is doing something different when you compare it to krennic unique which is very similar.

From what I can tell with 4/5 stealthed ewoks it is modifying crit damage in like this
(Modded Base CD) + (Modded Base CD * 0.20) + 5 + 16
So
216 +(216*.2) + 5 + 16 = 280.2

If we look at the first example again using this
2661*1.50*1.389*2.802 = 15534

Opponent Rey Armor is 22.58%
Expected damage 15534*0.7742 = 12026
Opponent Vader Armor is 29.42%
Expected Damage 15534*0.7058 = 10963
Here is the actual damage:

Those are a lot closer to what is happening.

Please fix this awesome murder bear.

Just curious as to how the damage variance actually plays into this. Does it come at the end, 1or does it modify base offense? I subtracted 500 from offense in your first example against Rey and redid the calculation and came up with 10,667, so your actual hit is within that range. Of course, if the variance comes off at the end, something is off.

Yeah I did that also. I dismissed it because as I reduced the CD via mods the variance got larger, so if it was coming off before the CD multiplier the variance should have gotten smaller.
I think it is something with the query that is set up as
    (CD*1.1) + (1*number ewoks)
    and
    (CD*1.1) + (4*number of stealhed allies)

@scuba is it as simple as the damage being calculated based on the 'union' of the number of ewoks and number of stealthed allies? I.e. it is not additive,.so with 5 ewoks you would get the same bonus to damage whether they are stealthed or not.

The wording is ambiguous at best but this would seem to fit with your figures (?).

Whether it is WAI is another matter!

I thought that till I looked at the mechanics which I know are not 100% but it does show a separate query for ewoks and a separate query for stealth-ed allies. What is really confusing with the mechanics is how they are adding it
    CD*10% +1%*number of ewoks
    CD*10% + 4%*number of stealthed allies
and each ability level is all over the place.

That is why I took a look at kreenic because his is very similar
