Soooooo.... With 2 days left in this event, I have put a lot of effort, and about $600 into this event and am still having trouble. I unfortunately was too late to the game and missed getting EP and Vader to 7 stars. This is my current comp that I have and am open to any suggestions. I have put in over 200 attempts and still manage to end up getting down to Chewie, Ben, and R2 left. Can't seem to push past them.
Veers might be the answer. If you have 3 troopers you might as well have a leader that benefits them more. Especially since all the imperial troopers have unique abilities that boosts other troopers and veers counts as a trooper.

I have RG at gear 8 and Veers at 83/100 gear 9 as back ups.
My question is, can this been done with the comp I have and if so, how?
I don't know if the comp will work or not, but your strategy isn't sound.
R2 should be the first one to die. Chewie and Ben should certainly be the last ones left standing, but R2 needs to be targeted before Leia, Han, and Luke.
R2 is very fast. Burning is %health damage. He will eat away your whole party if you don't get rid of him ASAP. It may seem like Han, Leia, and Luke hit harder, but they go so much less often than him, that %health damage really adds up.
Taking R2 down first is one of the biggest keys to this event. If you haven't modded your TFP for crit damage, I suggest doing so. If anyone dies in their opening volley or TFP is stunned, just restart right then.
