I think you have an hour after midnight to still play the event. You are really close and one more round of refreshes should be enough.

Do a couple refreshes. You should easily be able to get 16 shards

i'm down to 96 crystals unfortunately and 24 cantina energy. I am F2P (except 1 purchase for the annual bonus crystal deal) and I blew through all my crystals with up to 3 refreshes per day and started with a 25/65 4* OBK.

If you are this close then it might be worth it to get more crystals, I mean I would if I was so close to getting CLS. It might be a long time before he comes back.

Better spend a few bucks. Otherwise your effort is wasted for months.

I started basically where you did, did the 3 refreshes a day, and got CLS on Friday. You either have horrible horrible luck or didn't come close to doing the 3 refreshes/day

Yeah. Pony up. Just because people say they are free to play it doesn't mean anything. No ones giving out prizes for this. Think of all the hours of playtime you have in this game. It would be in your best interest to drop 5$ and just get Luke. And. Y the way your not free to play if you spent money already. Your cherrys been popped. There's no going back on that.

Btw did that guy ever get Luke and also why in the kitten can we not see how much longer the event lasts after we clear it? I know there was a small window of time on the 17th when it was supposed to end but I don't know since it doesn't show up once you clear it.

Nah I was 16 shards short. I'm bummed, but honestly this game is just a hobby i enjoy in my free time and I live in socal and have a high mortgage and a family to provide for so I have to be smart about where I spend my hard earned money and besides I have every character unlocked except for 9 of them so I have plenty to keep me busy until CLS returns.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the whales as you pay the developers salary and in turn they keep pumping out the content.
