SW GoH vs Pokemon GO

1) Roster development:
SW GoH: depending on character, its fast (gw shop, arena shop, cantina) or terrible slow (hard nodes). Gear-farm is a chore everyone complains about it.
Pokemon: find specific regions, for specific pets. Some are really rare, so dont expect to find them all in 2 weeks. Candy-farm might run into a chore as well, but by far way less then gear in SWGoH.

2) Arena system:
SW GoH: Dominated by very few chars (META), huge RNG-impact. Mostly RNG decides, who wins (no matter if its in battle effects like stuns or crits etc, but also drop rate of gear and mods with speed secondaries).
Pokemon: rock-paper-scissors, nearly no RNG. Such thing like a META exists, but can be ignored. Even beginners can claim highest daily reward.

3) RAID system:
SW GoH: based on guilds, based on activity of your guild mates, you might get a raid every other day.
Pokemon: based on whoever is already there ... might be a bit of a disadvantage, but still fun + 1 (free) raid per day, every day!

4) Events:
SW-GoH: maybe the best part, as there are many events.
Pokemon: Nearly no events noticed.

5) P2P:
SW-GoH: based on frustration ... you dont get the mod you "need", refresh hundreds of times and waste hundreds of US-Dollers to the slot machine.
Pokemon: You want more space? Buy an extension and it works "forever" - you dont need to be lucky, buy it and it works. You want to join another raid? Buy ticket, join ... there is no "chance to get a ticket" or something ... buy and do it. That simple ... no frustration.

6) Time:
SW-GoH: gather bonus enery at 13:00, 19:00, 22:00, you have to fight arena 18:00 to 19:00, fleet at 19:00 to 20:00, ... dont miss it, because you will "lose" a lot.
Pokemon: play when ever you want, when ever you find time ... no pressure, no loss, no troubles with job, no troubles with wife/girlfriend, no troubles with kids, no troubles with traffic, ...

7) GW/Fleet:
SW-GoH: GW is a chore you need to do for credits, fleet is basically: Whos Tarkin can use Imperial Assault first.
Pokemon: such things do not exist, but no one misses it ... 1 game in a game is enough.

Maybe this shows, that there is a little need to overthink some of the features in this game ...

Have fun! (as far, as possible in this game).
Left by design.
The fixed payout times are the worst part of this game and makes it absolutely family-unfriendly.
