Modding question: Speed vs. Damage

I'm trying to optimize my Rebels for P4 HAAT. Running Wedge (l), Biggs, Lando, Ezra, R2 (2 Zetas)

Here's the deal: I can increase Biggs' Speed by 9 points by replacing an Offense Cross with a faster Defense one. Same set, and the secondaries are almost identical.

Similarly, I can increase his Speed by another 7 points by replacing a 5-dot Crit Damage triangle with a 4-dot one.for a net reduction of 4.5% Crit Damage.

Do the additional assists make up for the lower damage output?

    I was ready to post and state that for Arena, you want that extra speed out there. But for tank....I'm not as confident. Math needs to be done here....and I'm not feeling up to cranking out the formula.
    Just curious, but why R2? I'd think that having Leia or someone who provides more reliant buffs would be a better slot in there.
  • R2's smoke screen is much more reliable than Leia's buff. Just gotta watch the timing if you have fast characters. And R2's passive cleanse helps with the DoTs. R2 lets the team get to Enrage with all 5 at full health.
