How much armor percentage will +60 armor give?

I'm not sure why they're still keeping that stat old school. I'm wondering if that gear 12 piece will be worth it or just a step towards G13. Like will armor jump up 3% or more?

As near as I was able to tell by comparing stats on swgoh.gg (which shows rating instead of percentage for their generic character descriptions) to my own characters, 10 armor rating is about 1% armor.

But then again, it may scale as you get it so it takes more and more of it to reach the next full 1% increase. A lot of RPGs do that.
