Whats the point of 3 starring all the Cantina, Lightside, and Darkside battles

So we all know we get a achievement when we complete all the battles in the singles battles. But why would we want to complete them all at 3 star? CG should make a reward for those that go through and complete all battles at 3 star. My suggestion would simply increased drop rates for the high gear tiered items and shards. Even if they doubled the drop occurances for these pieces it would make it far more worth it to complete the levels all the way through.

After the release cadence was introduced, I went back and got 3* on everything. Nothing like being able to sim a new character at the drop of a hat.

I agree that being able farm a new toon is awesome, but what about the normal battles.. no need to 3 star those unless you want the gear, which brings me back to my point if you 3 star everything then it would be great for a little bit of a perk..
