Game chat notifications?

I haven't seen character upgrades from my guild mates since tb were launched. With all this new stuff, is useful seeing when someone unlocks/ stars/ gears a toon. Were they removed? Or is it just my game?

Of course, my notifications are on.

They were removed when all the issues with the chat were taking place. Theoretically they will be back someday.
