2. I've seen EA encourage the use of allies in TB, but I've not seen the option to use allies at any stage. Anyone able to explain what EA meant?

2. Members in my guild have more than one 6* capital ship, while I have none. Any support for being able to "borrow" a spare capital ship from guild members (given that they're automatic allies in a guild event)?
[ I'm thinking of phase 6 but it could be applied earlier ]

Yes, I have seen that my guild has an ally guild but I've not seen any ally characters in action.

yeah get that idea out of your head and work on your ships and capitols like everyone else

You aren't supposed to use your allies here
