Darth Nihilus GW cooldown - Developer question

Why does Darth Nihilis's cooldown reset after each battle? Particularly for his annihilate ability. Even if it is supposed to start off at cooldown for the war it shouldn't reset after each battle. It seems like that is a legitimate strategy that you're limiting players on.

  • CG_Kozi said that DN would be too powerful if his CD didn't reset. Have to agree with that. TM is one thing. An insta kill with full TM seems kind of overboard.
  • They are probably waiting to give that ability to a LS toon. Because, then it would not be too powerful.

I would agree with you Exar except that all of our other characters have to start off with whatever their cooldowns were in the prior battle making them effectively underpowered. It seems like a legitimate strategy to allow your characters to get stronger in the next battle as a reward for not using their abilities in the prior battle. If anything, add one turn or something but not back to the full amount.

And yet having your Resistance team set up so that they can nullify OG Han and not let the opposing team have a turn is perfectly legit.

Not if they could one shot him ;)
  • It's frustrating because protection and health doesn't reset either. So basically you just get gimped on reset for it. CLS game genie mode annihilates people with power he never had for his specific character in the movies either but nobody cares about that right?

"Game Genie mode." Ha! Hilarious. Also, now I feel old.
