What is going on with Shoretrooper?

Is there some reason I'm missing why Shoretrooper is still being sold in shipments at a 1/80 crystal ratio? I mean he's been out since December, isn't it time to remove him as the de facto whale toon?

Do you have him 7* yet? 'Cuz let me tell you, that was a loooong and haaard... farm. I did buy shards when I saw them in shipments, because it was taking for-eve-rrrrrr!

I breezed through the table 9 light side nodes, but just can't past 9-B for dark side hards...

I was the opposite, and I sat at 1 star on LS 9-B for a long time even with 9-C and 9-D three starred.
