Status effect stacking

When TB were showcased we saw it, that you already had the stacking of the effects with numbers. So where is it? since then new characters were released, TB was updated and BB8 was announced and is coming. Yet the issue still continues are ever going to get a fix for it? Or is milking the cow more important?

If I had to guess they will drop that update with many other quality of life updates all together in one deploy. Rather then doing 10 deploys for each little update. Most game companies tend to do it that way.
