There will be some posts saying that this game is already too easy and you are not entitled to anything etc.
With this out of the way:
I dont think devs are unaware of the fact that we're getting thousands of gear pieces that are and will be useless forever. They chose not to address this because this was designed this way in the first place.
Obviously everyone will agree with you, that mk 3 holos are a joke atm, with no reliable source in shape of node yielding anything else of use, especially with some characters requiring 100+ of these.
Still, I think nothing except bugs, which are mentioned in devs section, is a coincidence or oversight. Thats the design.

I don't know anyon who doesn't think the tac challenge needs reworked. It's currently useless for veteran players.
