I think I was able to 7* him in under a month with how often I remembering him showing up. Just try to not think about, it'll make it seem like he shows up more often haha.

If you have him at 7*, he shows up everyday, if you have him at 5* he shows up every other day. If you are within 20 to 50 shards to max, he will show up every 2 weeks.
Yeah he was daily for me until I started buying him. Across all the shops, it seems like the more of a particular shard you buy, the less often it shows up.
I see him more often than not... There's what... 4 refreshes per day on that store. I'd say I see him Twice. I just finished getting him to 7 and the biggest limiter was Guild Currency.
