3 days in and no response from EA, Google have been equally useless as they haven't been able to provide the evidence that EA are asking for showing that I redeemed the Google Play gift card, they just sent me the link to the account which only shows if purchases have been made not redemption of gift cards. I updated the ticket so I guess I will fall foul of it going back to 1st line rather than an escalation, this whole promotion is a joke!

I have it listed in the google play order history as the 7*scavenger Rey+3000 crystals, but it never redeemed in game and going to restoring purchases hasn't done anything either. Also rewards are listed as empty as well.
So on November the 8th I got an Email from EA customer service asking that if I could send them some additional info (like when i used the cards, ally code etc) gave them all that i could and asked them if they needed anything more just to let me know.
But since then havent heard from them since, any idea what the normal response time is? Its funny to see that with most customer services they make it so much off a hassle that for most people it isnt even worth the time to go through all of it

Same here, except I had it escalated Tuesday. So exactly a week and no one at customer service seems to be able to give me any idea when or if this will be resolved.
Sadly, this has only strengthened my resolve to end the spending addiction. Customer service seems to be a very foreign concept for this company. One would think after years of being horrendous in this area they'd strive to be better.
can anybody confirm this? the ea support is only talking about transferring the game savings once (so you cannot change from ios to android to ios) but they do not answer my question whether it's linked for a short time or not. and they don't say, why i can only transfer from one platform to another and not back. that doesn't make any sense to me..
Just read the terms and conditions of the promotion (i want to get Kaufland play cards)! I don´t get if i can spend the google credits, i get with the google play card, on chrystals in the game. In the terms and conditions it is stated that the use of the google credits, if it´s in a promotion, is restricted.
My ticket just got resolved this morning, got 2x 80 shards and 750 crystals, took about 2 weeks but got there in the end so for other people dont just give up
Thought I'd feedback my experience here. Bought a £10 voucher from Start Select (UK), redeemed in Google Play but received no reward at all. Nothing showing in the Rewards tab in my account.
Glad I tested the water with only £10 this time, definitely not risking any more money on this shambles!
Just an update for everyone's benefit. Raised a ticket with EA regarding the above. Took a few days but they did credit my account with the reward so cannot fault their efforts on this occasion. Guess with the large volume of complaints they're resolving them with less resistance now.
Bouyed by this result I tried a second time with PayPal Gifts and it worked perfectly. I would advise anyone in the UK to avoid start select and use PayPal Gifts.
I had to send screenshots of my purchase etc (i had online digital play voucher).
Heres the final support email:

Can anyone advise how to make EA support understand that I cannot prove a Gift Card has been redeemed and that the bonus was not activated in order to get what I am entitled to under the terms of the promotion.

Yea, i did it by Startselect too and u are in the same case than many of us, good luck for give them the impossible evidence of this transaction now.

It is difficult to do that, but if if fails you wasted money... You can find guides how to do this online, but again, it can fail anyway.
