Ive seen a lot of claims that someone in reddit says the matchmaking is based on the highest arena ranking.. Is this true?
Im not sure if theres any explaination as of today on how the matchmaking is set.. Sometime in not 4/5 I faced lvl 70 team with decent characaters, and then the nodes after that a lvl 59 team comes in.. Im lvl 65 btw, with arena ranking usually around 100.. Some times it a continuous lvl 70 in the middle, and i am not able to go through it.. sometimes it a bit too easy..
Is it really that random?

Whatever it is, it has completely ruined GW for me. I face teams with 3, 4 or 5 fights left that are so strong I can't even wear them down
They 1-2 shot my characters.
How many galactic tokens do you get per day on average?
Whatever it is, at least an explaination would be great.. not necessarily calling for a change.. could you enlighten us, @EA_Jesse
I understand that everyone has a complaint about GW and it's insane difficulty but we are going the wrong way about seeking a resolution. I would like to remind people what a GW victory and GW give people.
1. It's the single biggest pay-out in credits from anywhere else in the game.
2. Tokens come in at 1200 in a full clear compared to its others that's much more.
3. MK I-II mats can be found very rare otherwise.
So how do, we the people, offer a solution/fix for the issue (if any) at hand to make galactic war more achievable by more players? I certainly would love to see less difficult opponents but maybe 3 more nodes for counter balance?
400 maybe 500? The biggest problem is it has also severely crippled my credit situation. I wouldn't care that much if I never got more than 400 tokens if they added a reasonable credit source other than crystals. I was finishing 9 out of 10 perchange and the ones I failed were bad luck or I got busy
I think adding a HARD GW mode and bumping the Shard drops x2 or something...then make the regular GW like it was b4.
Or letting us use idk 25 sim tickets (outa the 1,400 i have) to pass one node and refresh cooldowns...something
Whats the point of a game (especially with people paying), thats more work than reward?
Excellent point.. Yoda-man! That’s true, it gets frustratingly hard sometime, but the payout is actually incredible compared to other modes..
Im actually wanting to know how the matchmaking is done first, then only we can properly think on the more suitable solution.. Should it be based on the power rating of your top 5 chars? or top 7? Based on arena ranking ? or chars level ?
And from that power, maybe set the first 4 nodes to be 1000-2000 lower, 5-8 nodes equal power, the final 4 to be higher power, 1000-3000 perhaps ?

Turns out this is roughly how it is calculated.. At least we have a rough idea how it is determined.. hopefully it will be fixed in the future..
