Chimaera - Art of War not working properly

Thrawn's Capital ship move claims to have unresistable effects, yet most of the enemy ships will not get debuffed. If this is working as intended, I recommend changing the text for the ability.

You are misreading the text. It says that the debuffs "can't be Evaded" - they can still be resisted. All that means is that they can't dodge the attempt at applying it, which is different from resisting. The debuffs still go through a potency/tenacity check. "Can't be evaded" is different from "unresistable" like you wrote - evasion refers to dodge change, resisting refers to tenacity. Think of it like a basic attack that also applies a debuff - if a character dodges (or evades) the entire attack, no debuff will be applied, but if the attack lands, then they still have a chance to resist it. The Chimaera's debuff "attack" can't be dodged though, so it skips straight to the chance to resist.

The ability is working as intended, and the text is accurate.

Thanks for explaining this. I can see how this works mechanically. However, don't you think this is still confusing to read because this move is not an attack that does damage. All it applies to the enemy is a debuff. And the description says the debuff cannot be evaded, so it is still a bit misleading.

It's about as clear as it gets. Other abilities that cannot be evaded or resisted state clearly that they cannot be evaded or resisted. This attack cannot be dodged by say TIE Fighter, but can still be resisted, so how in your terms do you think the wording can be made clearer other than this attack cannot be evaded?

    Hiya!
Our team tested this and could not reproduce this issue. As another player commented, the debuffs can still be resisted so it still needs to get through a potency/tenacity check.
