I actually pulled it off. I can't even tell you how many credits I've blown just trying different mod combos. I figured I'd share my set up in case its helpful to anyone. This strategy is also very important.

1. Remove tank taunt
2. Kill death troopers ASAP
3. Use Ezra call assist on Hera and use Hera’s on Ezra only. This will speed up turn meter and you’ll get extra attacks in.
4. Use kanaan and zeb to provide protection up and use the back up plan to keep kanaan alive at all costs. You have to have the counter attack until late in the battle.
5. Kill the tank after the death troopers.
6. Kill the two remaining troopers next
7. Kill thrawn

I was so close in the last round. Pushed my Phoenix squad again a lot since then and looking for the next event on Nov 20th! I'll stick to your plan. Care to share your mod strategy as well?

Hmm my Phoenix is similar to yours OP and overall more health and protection. Potency on zeb is at 55% .the only fast toons are g9Hera g9Ezra and g9chopper at 169-197.g8 Zeb and g8 kanaan are in the high 120’s. All uniques maxed. All basics maxed and specials at 7. No zetas. Think I’ll be able to beat it? Oh and I don’t use Sabine. This event has gotten my anxiety level really high lol
