HAAT P4 Top Cannon TM Revival

I don't usually bother hitting P4 but just have done and think I must be missing something.

I elected to take out the B2's and the top cannon with the intention of keeping hitting the AAT and just taking out the top cannon when it revives. However, when the top cannon revived i.e. regained it's TM bar while dead, it revived with something like 90%+ TM. This then allowed it to super blast my toons almost immediately.

I always thought when a cannon revived it reset it's TM to 0.

I've had a look at the 'details' and can't see anything to explain this. What am I missing?

Seemed to do same on P2 as well now I think about it.

Yes, P2 is the same. How it is possible that they dont do any update with tank raid and tank works differently? Maybe code of this game is changing by itself?

It happened to my guild too. Still, was able to solo p4 with BB8 resistance, but the top cannon did fire once and nearly killed me immediately out of topple. It was the first time in a while that I really had to pay attention when doing the HAAT, so as annoying as it was, it made me hope for a new raid with more challenging phases.
