How I unlocked R2 at 7 Stars

I managed to get R2 on the second attempt at 7 stars and recorded the run on my iPhone. Used Thrawn g12, EP g10, Tarkin g8, Snowtrooper g8 and Vader g10. You don't need to have the toons geared so highly to complete the challenge. I didn't have the suggested mods on the toons either. Anyway this is my run - I thought it might be helpful for those looking to complete the event:

I had the same team across the board with the exception of TFP instead of snow and GMT at 9 and GAT at 9 and it was SUBSTANTIALLY harder. Dont underestimate that beast of a G12 Thrawn

I you watch closely I went into auto mode and when I could see Chewie's taunt had ended I went back into manual. There are a few moves in 'auto' that I wouldn't normally have made.
