Do the devs ever plan to finish the storyline with that trash talking Hutt from the beginning of the game? I always wanted to square up with him.

I'm not sure that was meant to be anything but the "storyline" of the start game, not really a theme for the whole game.

Yes, you play and defeat him when you unlock fleet. That is where you settle things.
