Running out of arena characters to promote

So I am down to only 2 characters in the squad arena to promote. Ugnaught will be 7 stars in about a week and that leaves me with CUP. Not sure if I should waste currency on him. I am pretty good with credits and have plenty of prestige mats, so what to do? Is there a post that says what characters will be added? Should I hoard the currency or 7 star CUP and rule the game?

1. add CUP for TB
2. save enough currency to 7* a toon instantly(minus waiting for Refreshes)
3. Turn excess currency into shard shop currency
5. Profit

Shard shop for gear that's what I did.

Stockpile it for possible new characters down the road and/or convert the credits to shard shop as needed when you want to fast track some gear.

Since I finished all the arena toons, I just turn the excess into shard shop currency. Plenty of good stuff in there to spend it on nowadays

Thanks. I never think about intentionally buying shards to convert.

I have the problem with galactic store. Just using the currency for ship shards now.
