Will R2D2 event be back on Dec 5th?

From what I hear, the CLS event will be making a return on December 5th of this year. I'm very excited for it, but also curious to know if the R2-D2 event will come back at the same time, due to the fact that he is required for the event itself. If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know! Thanks so much!

Interesting, because I remeber the first time the CLS event came around, they had an R2-D2 event fairly recently before that... I wonder if they will bring it back.
