We're all sick and tired of having to choose between farming either mods or characters when we should be able to farm both at the same time.
I've been playing almost a year and a half and I'm running out of mods because of how many characters are being released.

Also, choosing where you put your resources is integral part of the game. Remove this and you remove another strategic aspect of the game. In reality, we should only have a premium currency (crystals) and a standard one (energy). Then, it's up to you to do what you think is best for you.

Heaven forbid another currency... perhaps you'd like your fleet and gw to share one?
Better yet, why not just have one type for everything? After all, you'd have to be more strategic.
So, for example, if I was farming potency mods I'd use my, say, 7 attempts on potency. Then, the day after, I need speed and crit mods, I'd use 4 on speed and 3 on crit.
This would address the problem nicely.
