Unpublished platoons

To say seeing the requirements on the newer platoons was like a sucker punch to the stomach would be a massive understatement. Half of the platoons required either one of the newer nightsisters OR new first order. These cash grabs and incetivising crystal purchases is very bad business and breeds resentment on the player base. IF IT had been one or two platoons like the ewoks when TB came out that would be one thing but requiring 5 characters that were behind a massive paywall is downright dirty.

I would like to agree. But it’s really not that bad for business. Even if only 200 whales in the entire community got those 5 characters that’s around $400,000 in revenue. It’s ridiculous. But the utter ignorance of the whales continuing to feed them is a large part of the problem. I get it’s “their” money. Doesn’t change the fact they are allowing EA to set a virtual character that probably cost them next to nothing in development costs, at a ridiculously high price. Idk how these whales got so rich with no respect for money whatsoever. If they stopped buying. They would suffer for maybe. A month. Before EA started lowering prices. Consumers are generally oblivious to the amount of power they have over the market.
