Loosing Material and Shards

I started to notice that my ability material mk iii and IG-88 shards were a lot lower than they should be because I have been collecting them for a while now. I Thought it was just a miss count at first. Now I notice that sometimes when I get a shard or material it subtracts instead of adds to my total. I had 5 ability material mk iii and then I earned 2 more in a challenge and it resulted in a total of 3 when all was said and done.
