Galactic war characters on hard nodes

Considering GW characters are the easiest characters in the game to farm, why do they have cantina and hard nodes? We could free those up for characters that are harder to farm, like sabine or baze.

I discovered there are 7 GW characters that can be farmed elsewhere, for a total of 13 hard nodes and 4 cantina nodes.

If vets were on any of these nodes i would be delighted. Better yet, Death trooper or another hard to farm character.
