Trial Event!?!? (Practice Event!!)

Don't know if this is the right place to put this but what about having an event where you could spend like 20 Energy and then you could select any team / gear level / ability level and then you could select your opposing team toons / gear level / ability level etc etc. it takes so much effort to level / gear up any character and would be great to "try" a character out before you start grinding them... Thoughts??

I'll add to this. I was thinking a table where you spend 0 energy to field a group of 5 of your guys against 5 random opponents of similar level and gear for zero rewards so that you could see how your team will fair before leveling or promoting them further
