Dear EA...I've been playing this game since May on my cell phone. I've made multiple purchases which showed up in my google play account, so I thought hey, my account is linked. Yesterday, I got a nice shiny new tablet and thought SWGOH is going to be even better on that, and much to my surprise when I clicked "log in to google play" after installing SWGOH, it started a fresh account for me, which is definitely not what I wanted.

What did I want to happen? Simple...I want my level 85 account linked to my google play account, so I figured hey, I'm sure customer support can help me, so I followed the proper protocol and submitted a case. I was promptly contacted by someone who listened to my story, and said they could fix it, but it would require a specialist and none were available, try back in a few hours.

No problem...I tried back the next morning, promptly got a phone call, told the guy what was going on, he said it could be fixed, but he didn't have the power, he'd transfer me to someone that could. Ok, cool...so I end up in touch with some guy in chat. The guy takes all my information, and says wow sorry bud, you need a screen shot of an email purchase confirmation as well. Ok, understandable, but I have no way to get them to him without disconnecting and resuming my case...

So I get my screen shots, attach them, talk to yet another guy who takes me through the whole run around again just to say no man, your pictures didn't attach, and I don't have an email for you to send them to direct, go back and attach them. I know I sent them that time, triple checked before I resumed ticket and it showed them on my screen as uploaded...but hey, maybe something funky happened no cause for getting mad.

So needless to say the second time I send the pics I end up talking to yet another new person. I thought this was the man. He had my player ID/ally code for my real account, the player ID for the account I created by accident, screen shot of my google play account showing my email and some purchases, screen shot of an email purchase confirmation, and he even asked my EA security question to verify who I was. The guy even said ahh, you have 7 star Ahsoka Tano...my favorite character! What more could he possibly need? He proceeds to tell me I should be all set, its just going to take a little time to process.

So a little time goes by, maybe an hour or two, and I get an email from yet another new person...

1. Player ID/Ally code of the new SWGOH account
2. Player ID/Ally code of your original Galaxy of Heroes account
3. Were you able to linked your new SWGOH account to Google Play? If not, please link your game progress first on your Google play account


EA...are you kidding me? I've been going at this now for over 5 hours, and I'm apparently no closer to getting a simple issue resolved than I was last night. I've already sent this information multiple times to multiple people. Literally 5 hours later and I've gotten literally nowhere?

I know the forumites can't resolve anything, but I have no other avenue of contacting EA support, would it be possible to simply PM me the contact info for someone that can actually help me? Its ludicrous at this point that I've blown over 5 hours and I still have people asking me for the same information I've already given them multiple times, this is simply no way treat a paying customer.

    I'm sorry to hear of your experience with support. As you have already provided the information required in a previous ticket, Please provide your current rep with the support ticket number for them to reference.
