Are ability mats (III) more likely in higher Squad Cantina tiers?

Just a general question because until level 69 I'm "free" for a while to get some shards for some B-list characters.
I've decided to star Talia for my Dark Side team (she has the worst HP on my team by far, which is bad for survivability AND her healing) and I have two options for her. Tier 1 is much better for shards, but Tier 3 is better for training droids (a little) and credits (a lot), and I can't make up my mind.

I can confirm from experience they drop a lot more from higher Cantina levels.

They drop at a way higher rate, it's noticeable after you go through a few hundred energy.

Seems like ti to me as well, also the energy to cantina points is better (not a ton better but it is better) at the higher level so you can get whoever you are working from cantina rewards as well

Although cantina will drop purple ability mats, the best rewards still come from finishing GW daily. Personally, I build my roster to finish GW. One can readily buy crystals if needed, but not purple mats or credits.

I would really like an event added with Ability Mats that cost 24 energy. Just like energy and training droids.

Obviously more data would be better, it always is, but even if those observed rates are both off by 25%, that would still be .79 and .29 which is statistically significant.
